Start Em, Sit Em: Week 9

After a thrilling Week 8, that featured some amazing Fantasy performances from Carlton Aiken Jr., Glen Toogna, and Reece Horn, we have everything you need to move up the leaderboard this weekend. Make sure to login every week and check on where you are in the leaderboard standing of thousands of Fantasy manager players across the globe.

With that out of the way, let me, Felix Pahl, take a look at some key players to consider in your lineup this week!

Start’Em Week 9

QB Isaiah Weed, Cologne Centurions, (2,700,000 GC)

Isaiah Weed had a strong game against the Frankfurt Galaxy, impressing both on the ground and through the air. He can score important points for your fantasy team in both areas. This week, he plays against the Sea Devils, who performed poorly against Rhein Fire in Week 8 and lost their two American import players in the defensive backfield. Although they have new players, they need time to adjust to the system, giving Isaiah Weed opportunities to create big plays.

RB Karri Pajarinen, Vienna Vikings, (1,960,000 GC)

Karri Pajarinen is having a solid season with 683 rushing yards and 8 touchdowns. The Vikings face the Berlin Thunder this week, which promises to be a tough matchup. However, according to sportmetrics, the Thunder have the fourth-worst rushing defense, which the Vikings plan to attack with Pajarinen. Especially if the game is close, Pajarinen will get more snaps to help control the clock.

WR Anthony Brown, Helvetic Mercenaries, (2,470,000 GC)

Anthony Brown is also having a great season with 687 receiving yards and 4 touchdowns. The Mercenaries seem to have woken up and almost defeated the unbeaten Vikings. Their new offensive coordinator knows how to use quarterback Aiken Jr., creating opportunities for big plays. Brown, his favorite target, will benefit from this against the Munich Ravens this weekend.

Sit’Em Week 9

QB Jakeb Sullivan, Berlin Thunder, (3,220,000 GC)

Last week, the Berlin Thunder were absent in the first half and only woke up in the second half. They performed well against a strong defense, but it wasn’t enough for a win. The Vikings’ defense is also very strong and will aim to shut Sullivan down for the entire game. After the performance against the Mercenaries, the Vikings’ defense wants to remind the league how good they are and prevent Sullivan from scoring big points.

RB Dwayne Obi, Madrid Bravos, (2,460,000 GC)

While Dwayne Obi is having an outstanding season, this week he faces a tough opponent in the Paris Musketeers. With the fourth-best rush defense and second-best defense in yards allowed, the Bravos will need to be creative to make plays. However, I believe the Parisians have a plan to limit the Bravos’ run game, which will reduce Obi’s fantasy points.

RB Tomiwa Oyewo, Munich Ravens, (2,640,000 GC)

Although Oyewo gets stronger every week, he faces the third-strongest rushing defense in the Mercenaries. Even though the Ravens have had more time to prepare for the Mercenaries due to their bye week, the Mercenaries are eager to secure their next win, especially after their recent performances. They will focus on stopping the ball and limiting Oyewo, both in yards and fantasy points.
